About Cyber Careers Community

Hands-on training uses Splunk as the SIEM tool and Nessus for vulnerability management, alongside Microsoft Azure Enterprise, Microsoft Defender Enterprise and the NIST framework.[1] Members also get internship experience and employment verification, reviews of their resume and LinkedIn profile, networking and job-search strategy, and tech job leads.[1] Private coaching calls and Q&A sessions are included as a bonus.[1]

Ajih founded Cyber Potential, which provides career coaching to people starting and growing cybersecurity careers.[2] Its programme combines theory taught by instructors with practical labs, deliverables and a portfolio task, and its sessions run mock technical interviews, resume walkthroughs, guided labs and lab reviews.[2] The programme also links participants to hiring partners, CISOs and mentors for 1:1 career coaching, referrals and portfolio reviews.[2] Ajih's YouTube channel is aimed at people trying to break into cybersecurity.[3]

Cyber Potential's terms state that its services are educational and informational only, and that they do not guarantee particular career outcomes unless a program specifies otherwise.[2] The same terms require users to be at least 18 years old or to have parental consent.[2] Coaching is paid in advance unless otherwise agreed, refunds are considered case by case, and no refunds are issued for completed sessions.[2]
