About The Pilot Starter Guide
SkyPrep's main product is an online pilot ground school meant to build an aviation foundation before flight school.[2] Its nine modules include aerodynamics, aircraft parts and functions, principles of flight, aviation history, airport operations and air traffic control, flight instruments, aviation weather, and airspace and aviation rules.[2] A study guide and an exam checklist are included.[2] As of September 2026, the course cost $79 one-time, with lifetime access.[2] It is taught by Amir Khalifa, an aviation educator whose listed areas are air traffic control and aviation theory.[2]
SkyPrep describes the course as pre-flight-school study, not preparation for a licensing exam.[2]
