About MYDFIR SOC Community

The paid tier, the MYDFIR Forge, provides a SOC environment and a structured learning path with daily accountabilities.[2] It includes a 90-day SOC Accelerator Program, a SOC Simulator with real alerts in Microsoft Defender XDR and Splunk and simulated clients, labs, projects and challenges, weekly mentorship and feedback, and resume reviews and interview preparation.[1][2] Tools used include Microsoft Sentinel and XDR, Splunk, Suricata and Zeek, and there is a live call every Sunday.[1][2]

A DFIR course on digital forensics and incident response follows the 90-day program.[1] As of September 2026, the Forge cost $99 a month or $999 a year, and a separate SOC Analyst Course cost $499 once.[1] Members are expected to have some foundational knowledge of IT, networking and cybersecurity, and the site makes no job promises.[1]
