Skool pricing benchmarks, by billing period and by week
The percentiles behind the Skool pricing figures on this site: what monthly, yearly and one-off plans cost as the seller sets them, and the quartiles in each week of readings, with the count behind every figure.
The headline figures, the price bands and the largest paid communities are on Skool pricing: what communities charge. This page is the dataset behind them.
What communities charge
The middle of the market, and how far it spreads either side.
The median sits at $28 while the mean is $58. Where the mean sits above the median, a small number of high-priced communities are pulling the average up, which is why the median is the more useful number to quote. The commonest single price is $9, charged by 207 of them. Prices cluster on round anchors because sellers choose them deliberately, so the gap between that and the range above says more than either does alone. Nine in ten of them charge between $3 and $183 a month.
What each billing period charges
Each plan as the seller prices it: a yearly price per year, a one-off price paid once.
| Billing period | Listings | 25th percentile | Median | 75th percentile |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthlyper month | 2,021 | $9 | $29 | $50 |
| Yearlyper year | 102 | $49 | $273 | $1,997 |
| One-offpaid once | 210 | $47 | $119 | $499 |
The monthly price used everywhere else on this site counts the monthly and yearly rows together, a yearly price divided by twelve: 2,123 listings. The other 8 with a monthly price are above $2,000 a month, shown on their own pages but in no price figure. A one-off price has no monthly equivalent, so it is in neither.
The monthly price, week by week
Each listing here counts once in a week, at its last reading that week, and only in weeks it was read.

Which listings were read differs from week to week, so a quartile that moves between two weeks can come from the set read rather than from any seller changing a price.
Pricing models
Not every community fits a monthly subscription model, and those are reported rather than dropped.
