Skool

Is Skool legit? What the data shows

Skool is a real platform with real communities on it, and that is the easy half of the question. The harder half is whether any particular community is worth its price, which is a different question and one no platform-level page can answer for you.

This page does not give a verdict, on Skool or on anything on it
Nobody here has joined a Skool community, and nothing below is a recommendation or a warning. What this page has instead is a summary of the population, what communities on Skool charge and how large they are, with every figure behind it one link away. Where a listing does not publish a figure, this site says so rather than guessing.

The figures in brief

6,546 Skool communities are listed here. Among the 2,131 that publish a monthly price, the median is $28 a month. The median community has 517 members. The price spread and the largest communities, each linked to its own dated readings, are on Skool communities, by the numbers.

Common questions

The questions people ask about this, answered with what the tracked data can and cannot show.

Is Skool a scam?
Skool is a software company that sells community hosting, in the same way Patreon or Discord do. The question people are usually asking is narrower than that: whether the specific community they are about to pay for is worth the money. That is not a question about Skool, and this site does not answer it with an opinion. It answers it with the price, the size, the amount of material inside and the history of all three, so you can decide.
Are Skool communities worth the money?
Some will be and some will not, and which is which depends on what you want out of one. What we can tell you is what a community charges against what comparable communities charge, how many members it has against how many they have, and whether those numbers have been going up or down for as long as we have been reading them. Some community pages also show a score, but it is calculated from published figures, with each weight shown, rather than from anyone's opinion of the community, and it is not a recommendation.
Does Skool publish reviews or ratings?
No. Skool publishes no rating and no review count for the communities it hosts, so there is nothing of that kind to report here and we do not write our own. Whop does publish both, which is why the Whop pages on this site can show scores and these cannot.
How do you know any of these figures are real?
Each one is read from the community’s own public listing, and that community’s page here shows the date it was read and links to the page it came from. The figures are read, not estimated; the score is a calculation from those published figures, with its weights shown. The limitation worth knowing is that our history starts when we started reading a given community, not when that community opened, so an absence of early history says nothing about how long it has been running.
