What share of a storefront audience pays?

Among the sellers that publish both a free and a paying member count, how much of their audience is paying. A storefront-wide figure covering every product a seller runs, not a single community, and only for those who publish both numbers.

Read this as a storefront figure, not a community one
Both counts are published for a seller’s whole storefront, so they cover every product that seller runs. A seller with a free Discord and a paid community appears here once, with both counted together. Nothing on this page describes an individual community, and it should not be read as one.
Sellers publishing both counts
1,952
Of 19,435 Whop storefronts we have read, so 10.0%. The rest publish one count or neither.
Median paying share
5.9%
Half of these 1,952 sellers are above this, half below.
Middle half of the range
1.9% to 18.2%
A single average would hide how wide the spread is.

The whole spread

The middle of this range is far from the whole story: the paying share runs from under one percent to almost all of a storefront’s audience, and sellers sit across the entire span rather than clustering around the median.

Only sellers publishing both a free and a paying count appear. A seller publishing one and not the other is left out entirely rather than having the missing number inferred, so this describes the sellers who disclose and not the market as a whole. Coverage grows as more storefronts are read.
