About Equestrian Fitness for Riders

Over the challenge, riders work on core stability, leg position, hip opening, pelvis activation and sitting evenly.[1] Joining also brings a 10-minute seat workout, weekly seat Q&As, monthly masterclasses, and rider fitness programmes and guides.[1]

Hughes is head coach of the Horse Rider Fitness Academy, a separate paid programme, and is a British Equestrian Level 2 coach and Level 3 personal trainer who also owns a barre and Pilates studio.[1][3] The Academy combines rider fitness, biomechanics and mindset coaching, with live coaching every week, expert analysis of members' riding and off-horse exercise videos, a recipe library and a personalised programme delivered in the Everfit app.[3][4] As of September 2026, the Academy cost $149 a month or $999 a year.[4] The Academy's website states that riders who see no measurable progress in 90 days get 1:1 coaching until they do, or a full refund.[4] A free Rider Seat Scorecard benchmarks how effectively a rider rides from an independent seat, and a YouTube channel promotes both the challenge and the Academy.[2][3] The business trades as Karzan Hughes Equestrian.[4]

The group offers a 7-day free trial and can be cancelled at any time.[1] The Academy states that the information and training it shares are for educational purposes only and are not medical advice.[4]
