About Venus Rising | Heels Dance

Members share dance videos for feedback and get technique guidance from experienced heels dancers, whether they are new to heels or refining their technique.[1] Course material includes Heels Drills Vol.1, with 18 move breakdowns and 8 drills; The Dancer's Toolkit of mobility warmups, drills and body breakdowns; and full routine tutorials at several levels.[1][2] The group also runs live workshops, community challenges and monthly virtual hangs, and shares shoe and outfit recommendations.[1]

Shaka also teaches in-person heels classes, with online training for those who cannot attend; the classes need no dance experience and are open to anyone 18 or over.[3] Her about page says she has worked with brands including Sephora, El Jimador and Samsung.[2] Shaka's YouTube channel covers dance and movement and points viewers to the online community.[4]
