About Upcycled Sewing Rebels

Members learn to make sustainable clothing their followers will want to buy and to build a brand buyers recognise, through real-time lessons and a community of peers.[1] Joining brings a free ebook by Wildman, Sew & Sell: 10 Secrets to Selling Your Upcycled Creations.[1][2] The website describes a private group for questions and upcycling techniques, where members hunt down unwanted clothing, vintage fabrics, trims and buttons to make clothing, accessories, toys and housewares.[2] Wildman's YouTube channel points viewers to the community for DIY clothing tutorials, sew-alongs and mentoring.[4]

Wildman makes refashioned wedding dresses and upcycled clothing, and the channel shows pre-loved fabrics, laces and trims turned into cottagecore dresses, dusters, skirts and pantaloons.[4] More than a decade ago Wildman began making a living from garments and handmade dolls sewn from repurposed clothing, and the business trades as Mandy Wildman Designs.[2][3] A disclosures page on the website says the blog carries some paid advertising, sponsored posts and affiliate links, and that The Vibrant Crafter takes part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates program.[5]
