About Zeríya Ancestral School

At the centre, according to the community's website, is a weekly mambeo with Elder Josafat Castillo Yaci, Governador of the Cabildo Zeríya, held every Thursday for one hour at 8 p.m. Bogotá time, with meeting access inside Skool.[2] Josafat speaks Spanish, and English captions and live translation are provided.[2] The gatherings focus on everyday life rather than ayahuasca troubleshooting.[2] Members also get The Elder Archive, with recorded conversations with Wiwa and Murui elders and subtitled gathering recordings, plus The Mambe course, The Ayahuasca and Plant Medicines Course and monthly circles.[1][2]

Entry is by a one-time joining contribution, called reciprocity, that gives lifetime membership with no paywalls or upsells and supports the elders, their families and the land.[1][2] No retreat or promised visit comes with membership, and there is a 30-day refund window.[2] The Ocoyai website states that Ocoyai offers education and community conversations, and that it does not supply, sell or provide psychedelics or any other controlled substances through the website or membership.[2]
