A review on the numbers, not an opinion: nobody here has joined Basketball Missions Community, and nothing below is a verdict.

Basketball Missions Community is a faith-based Skool community for believers who want to use basketball as a platform to share the Gospel and make disciples.[1] Created in February 2025, it belongs to Hoops for Christ, the basketball ministry and academy of Coach Phillip Morrison, whose website lists a global online basketball missions community on Skool among its activities.[1][2][3] The group gives its mission as redeeming basketball for God's kingdom.[1]

About Basketball Missions Community

Members get discipleship tools and resources, live community calls for devotionals, training, prayer and workshops, and free resources to help them lead, coach and share their faith.[1] A testimony wall collects encouragement and prayer requests, and the group shares information on the ministry's mission trips and conference.[1]

Hoops for Christ provides basketball training, youth leagues and sports ministry, and its site lists online training courses, leagues, camps and clinics alongside speaking, preaching and coaches conferences.[3] A feature by John Herndon, posted in October 2020, reported that Morrison started Hoops for Christ in 2015 and that the ministry then had six full-time workers and offices in Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort and Brisbane, Australia.[4] The same feature said the ministry ran camps and individual training and partnered with churches in Kentucky and southern Indiana for outreach.[4] Morrison played professionally for four years in six countries, including Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia, and describes his role as more that of a basketball missionary than a trainer or coach.[4] A February 2021 episode, "Why Phil Morrison connects players to spirituality of basketball," also presented him as a champion of the Hoops for Christ ethos.[5]
