About 🎵 Independent Artist Academy

Each month, members' songs are entered into Mic Madness, and members get a song review from Tyson, live Q&A calls with Tyson and industry guests, done-with-you marketing, credit repair help with a funding roadmap, and a monthly mastermind.[1] Every course, module and replay is included.[1] As of September 2026, a Mic Madness entry on its own cost $69.[1] An upgrade adds done-for-you credit repair, distribution opportunities and music grant access.[1]

Mic Madness is a song review event in which Roc Nation's Rel Carter, Tyson and rotating industry panelists give real-time feedback, streamed live on Kick.[2] Submitted tracks go to curated Spotify playlists, and artists can follow their ratings, feedback and review status on a dashboard.[2] An earlier Music Funding Academy sales page, dated 2023, presented the community as a Discord group with live trainings, recorded call replays and a resource library of music marketing strategies.[3] That page described Music Funding as a program combining music marketing with financial literacy.[3]

Members can cancel or upgrade at any time.[1] The listing states that members whose song does not get in front of real fans in their first month do not pay.[1]
