Contact IQ is a coaching resource on tackling, collisions and contact preparation, built on rugby league principles and adapted for coaches and athletes in American football and rugby union.[1] It is led by Coach Liam, a co-founder of Tackle U and a professional rugby league head coach in France.[2] The owner profile lists the roles of head coach at St Esteve XIII Catalan and reserves, youth and transitions work for Catalans Dragons.[2] The Skool group was created in April 2026.[2]

About Contact IQ

The listing says it is not an online course but a growing catalogue of resources on tackling drills, contact prep and ways to implement them.[2] The library includes 1v1, 2v1 and 3v1 tackling drills, plus footage of contact prep and conditioning sessions that Coach Liam planned and ran with real athletes.[1] A base membership opens part of the content and an upgrade unlocks all of it, and the Tackle U page for the platform offers a 7-day trial.[1][3]

Tackle U runs a second online platform, Rugby League IQ, alongside Contact IQ.[3] Its coaches also deliver in-person coaching and clinics, video performance analysis, mentoring and public speaking, and host a podcast, The Inside Shoulder, on contact and collision sports.[4][5]
