Practical Shooting Accelerator is a Skool training program for competition shooters in USPSA, IDPA and PCSL, run by Rob Epifania and created in July 2023.[1] Epifania, an engineer by trade, says the program grew out of systematising his own training on the way to Grand Master.[1] He reached USPSA's Grand Master class in 2021.[2]

About Practical Shooting Accelerator

Lessons cover fundamentals such as grip, trigger, draw, reloads and transitions, vision work including shot calling and getting pre-aimed sooner, and shooting on the move through entries, exits and off-balance positions.[1] Mental skills such as handling nerves at matches and classifier training are also covered.[1] Members get training plans, live calls for personal coaching, unlimited film review and contact with other experienced shooters.[1]

Epifania's company is Systematic Performance Concepts Inc., which offers online and in-person firearms training for competitive shooters.[3] Beyond the Skool program, he gives Zoom lessons on topics a student chooses, travels to host classes or teach as a guest instructor, and holds 1 on 1 lessons at ranges in Uniondale, Hicksville and West Hampton Beach, NY.[3] His YouTube channel posts practical drills, tips and guides.[4] A January 2024 SSUSA profile by Michelle Cerino describes him as a shooter, author and instructor, and quotes him saying he began competing in 2018.[2]
