About Catherine's Sewing Room

Catherine's sewing courses sit in the group's Classroom, alongside mini-lessons on sewing with more confidence and creativity.[1] Members also get daily posts, discussion spaces, a member map for finding sewists near and far, and a calendar of coffee hours, sew-alongs, fashion trips and special events.[1]

A travel company's tour page identifies Catherine Hay as the creator of Catherine Sews and describes her as a retired fashion educator who worked in the fashion industry for over a decade before moving into teaching.[2] The page says she now shares her love of fashion through guided travel.[2] It names her as host of a fashion trip to London held from 8 to 17 May 2026, which included a sewing workshop at Ray Stitch or a similar venue.[2]
