About Watercolor Realism Academy 🏆

The Standard tier includes a watercolor course for beginners, a yellow flower and butterfly step-by-step, critique and support, a weekly live workshop or masterclass and downloadable guides.[1] Premium adds a reference image library with four new images a week, the book Realistic Watercolor Unleashed, step-by-step tutorials, masterclass recordings and a composition and photo editing course.[1] VIP adds 10-Day Challenge recordings, a weekly live Q&A with Dani and a one-hour growth planning call.[1] As of September 2026, Premium cost $27 a month or $270 a year and VIP $97 a month or $970 a year.[1] A seven-day free trial is offered, and the group says membership can be cancelled in two clicks.[1]

Dani is the author of Realistic Watercolor Unleashed, published in August 2017 with the subtitle A Complete Guide To Complex Realistic Paintings.[3][4] The 246-page book has seven demonstrations on subjects such as water, wood, fur, feathers, skin and blurred backgrounds, and its site offers a full refund within six months of purchase.[4] As of September 2026, it sold on Amazon for $48 plus shipping in paperback and $29 on Kindle.[4] She also runs the Mastering Watercolor Realism program, online workshops and a 10-Day Watercolor Challenge, along with a free community called Watercolor Learning Forum.[2][4] Dani works full-time as a watercolor artist and business mentor.[3] In October 2017 Doodlewash ran a guest artist feature by Dani on photorealism in watercolors, which showed how the blurred background in the painting 'The Look' was made.[5]
