About AOBI Free: Ballet Teacher Tips

Members get one short teaching tip from Du each week, along with a correction or combination to try in class the next day.[1] A variation Q&A lets teachers ask about a student they are coaching, and Du holds a monthly live Q&A.[1] The paid group adds 13 complete classes, 200+ combinations, 90 floor barre exercises and a quarterly Variation Build.[1]

Du began his performing career with The Washington Ballet, later joined The Suzanne Farrell Ballet as a principal dancer, and served as Artistic Director of Kirov Academy from 2019 to 2021.[2] He is founder and artistic director of Runqiao Du Ballet Coaching and DUCON International, whose own website, runqiaodu.com, offers classical ballet intensives, live online classes and teacher training.[1][3] Its online programs follow the Vaganova method with individualized corrections and feedback, and as of September 2026 a membership with unlimited access cost $349 a month.[2][4] Intensives run in the US, China, Malaysia and Singapore; in the US they are for ages 10 to 18 with an audition, in Asia for ages 7 to 18 with no audition, and adults aged 19 and up with 1 to 2 years of ballet experience register directly.[3][5]

The AOBI Dance Educator Apprenticeship, a further paid offer, is a 16-week guided curriculum in four stages, technician, analyst, educator and entrepreneur, with 30+ hours of teaching demos, teaching manuals and monthly workshops.[6] It is meant only for teachers who currently teach classical ballet or intend to, and as of September 2026 it cost $2,997, with a monthly payment option through Affirm.[6]
