About Top Gun Teamwork

The listing names two frameworks, the E.A.G.L.E. model for planning and the F-4 Debrief, and says teams learn by doing, practicing debriefing and planning.[2] The program pairs brief online preparation with live group coaching, practice in real-world settings, structured reflection, and accountability for implementing what is learned.[1] It is held over Zoom in 90-minute sessions, and instructors usually stay afterwards to answer questions.[1] The program lasts about 12 weeks, the time VMax Group says it takes to change behavior.[1] Its curriculum covers five conditions for teamwork: discovering a team's purpose, making expectations clear, setting and upholding standards, creating psychological safety and building a mission rhythm.[1] Both a combined cohort and a custom cohort for a single organization are available, and the program is aimed at everyone from the C-suite through to front-line project managers.[1]

Teschner launched VMax Group as an international business consulting practice.[3] His book Debrief To Win is about accountable leadership as practiced by America's Top Guns, and he is working on a next book, Team to Succeed.[3] A YouTube channel tied to the program describes him as a keynote speaker and the founder of Top Gun Teamwork.[4]
