About Think Outside the Classroom
Members get encouragement, homeschooling support drawn from real life, a space to ask questions and meet other mothers, and the freedom to take a different approach without pressure.[1] Its approach steps away from academic pressure toward learning built on creativity, curiosity, faith and each child's own path.[1]
The group shares its name with an ebook sold on the homeschooling site Generation Cedar, Think Outside the Classroom, subtitled A Practical Approach to Relaxed Homeschooling.[2][3] As of September 2026, the ebook cost $7.99.[2] It covers questions about education, practical ways to build an atmosphere for learning, and teaching without the stress of deadlines.[2] Generation Cedar also publishes articles on parenting, homeschooling and faith-based living, a free course called The 3 Rs of Stress Free Homeschooling, a podcast, the Simply Copywork course for teaching English with no set curriculum, and a daily devotion for mothers.[2][3]
