About SpiritualCareCollaborative

Its teaching blends chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, clinical pastoral education, trauma-informed care, and narrative and relational approaches, with topics ranging from ethical boundaries, cultural humility and crisis response to presence-based listening and frameworks for spiritual pain.[1] The owner's profile describes a psychospiritual educator and mentor whose work supports religious trauma coaches, pastoral counselors, spiritual directors and chaplains.[1]

The Spiritual Care Collaborative is an initiative of Concordia Clinical, an organization that designs, develops and manages spiritual care programs in clinical, educational and community settings.[2] The collaborative brings people together through workshops, webinars, courses, live events, conversations and continuing education, and helps them look into chaplaincy in institutions, spiritual direction, and parish-based spiritual care that draws on clinical practice.[2] Its Skool portal serves as a shared course platform for institutional collaborators, who share technology costs, technical assistance and administrative support.[3]
