Software Eng Accelerator is the Skool group of the Software Engineering Accelerator, a career coaching program for CS students, new graduates and software engineers looking for jobs or internships.[1] It is run by Aman Manazir, a software engineer, YouTuber and career coach, through a coaching company.[2][3] The group was set up in July 2024, and entry is by application.[1] The program site describes a yearlong coaching program with cohorts capped at 30 to 40 students.[4]

About Software Eng Accelerator

A promotional profile of Manazir describes the curriculum as organised around two goals: getting the interview and passing it.[2] The first covers the resume, the LinkedIn profile, networking and referrals, and the second trains coding assessments, live coding interviews and behavioral sessions.[1][2] Its modules include Behavioral Interview Blueprint and Coding Interview Strategies, and the resume module pairs pre-recorded lectures with a one-on-one review of each client's resume and LinkedIn.[4] Members also get live coaching calls on coding, behavioral interviews and strategy, one-on-one mock interviews with feedback, and a private community of job-seeking CS students and software engineers.[1]

Manazir started a YouTube channel in 2020 and left a full-time software engineering job in 2024 to work on coaching.[3] The site also publishes a weekly newsletter, Escape Velocity, and a free LeetCode guide to structuring technical interview prep.[3]

The listing states that members who do not get an offer pay nothing, and the program offers several tiers depending on background and goals.[1][4] Its disclaimer says the results-based guarantee applies to participants who meet all program requirements, that individual results may vary with prior experience, effort, market conditions and personal accountability, and that specific job placements, salaries or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.[4] It also discloses that some people who gave testimonials may have received discounts, bonuses or early access as an incentive for their feedback.[4]
