Remote Business Academy is a digital real estate education program run by Derek and Dakota through Remote Business Academy, LLC, and its Skool group, the Digital Real Estate Community, was created in January 2023.[1] The academy's site lists Derek M. and Dakota M. as co-founders and Zachary C. as lead coach.[2] The model it teaches is using AI to build simple websites that generate leads for local contractors such as plumbers, HVAC firms and electricians, then renting those sites out.[1][2][3]

About Remote Business Academy

Entry is by application: prospective members watch the linked YouTube video, then complete a survey to work with the team.[1][4] The foundation of the academy is a video course, the Digital Real Estate Course, which covers building a site with AI and a drag-and-drop website builder and attracting long-term site renters.[2] Members can also attend weekly live calls hosted by Derek, Dakota and other coaches on different parts of the business model.[2]

The pair publish on a YouTube channel titled Derek & Dakota | Digital Real Estate.[3]

The company states that it provides educational training only, that it does not sell a business opportunity, “get rich quick” program or money-making system, that it makes no guarantees of success or earnings, and that individual results will vary.[4] It adds that investing and business activities carry risk, including possible financial loss, and that the site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Facebook (Meta), YouTube or Microsoft.[4]
