About Kirtan Family

Topics include finding confidence in the voice, exercises for vocal care and control, and mantra meditation, which the group presents as a way to manage stress and anxiety through singing.^[1] Members get live training sessions with real-time feedback, personalized tips and a roadmap, and a community of people interested in kirtan.^[1]

A November 2024 ISKCON News article describes Learn Kirtan as a preaching initiative that helps people find confidence in their voices and use kirtan for meditation and stress relief, with a focus on simplifying kirtan for beginners.^[2] According to the article, students learn the meaning of mantras and accessible melodies, and harmonium lessons encourage them to "just play" rather than focus on technical fingering.^[2] The operator's YouTube channel centres on kirtan and singing.^[3]
