About Inside FP&A

Members get eight courses, running from Introduction to FP&A and Financial Modeling for FP&A to Reporting & Financial Storytelling and The FP&A Interview Playbook, with forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering in between.^[1] They also get a members' community and direct support from Wattig.^[1]

Before founding Inside FP&A, Wattig spent over a decade in finance and accounting leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Unilever.^[2] His website lists Google, Merck, Lowe's and Discover among the companies whose finance teams have taken his in-person programs.^[2] His website also lists the Inside FP&A Academy, a four-week on-demand program of seven to ten hours a week, and a four-hour self-paced course on using AI prompts for variance analysis, forecasting, modeling and reporting.^[2] Wattig also writes FP&A Tuesday, a free weekly newsletter of advice on financial planning and analysis.^[4]

In a podcast interview published in July 2025, he described his move from Procter & Gamble into finance education and the launch of his FP&A bootcamp, and argued for combining several forecasting techniques, from driver-based models to time-series and zero-based planning.^[3]
