About GovTech Blueprint Community

Members get monthly live Q&A calls with Berry, more than 100 video modules, Security+ 701 study guides, practice questions and study groups, weekly postings of roles that sponsor security clearances, and AI tools for resumes and LinkedIn profiles.[1] The community also covers how to apply for government contractor roles, federal jobs and contracting positions overseas.[1]

GovTech Academy's main program is a 6 month intensive technical training and career readiness program preparing students for CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySa+ and the Red Hat RHCSA.[3] It adds weekly career development calls, monthly masterclasses with industry professionals, peer networking, lab exercises and real-world projects, resume and interview preparation, and mentorship from GovTech professionals.[3][4] An earlier version of the program was called SLS Tech Academy.[4] Berry describes 15 years in GovTech, from help desk and radar software engineering to overseas government contracting and federal tech sales, and a February 2024 Blk Men in Tech post profiled Berry as The GovTech Guru.[2]

GovTech Academy states that it does not guarantee employment outcomes, that its program is meant for students older than 17, and that its focus is on U.S. citizens or residents of US territories.[3]
