Beyond The Course, or BTC, is a mentorship in digital marketing and business sold under the Self Made Girl Boss (SMGB) brand.[1][2] The Skool group, created in August 2024, is aimed at digital marketers and business owners and is split into two programmes, Mentorship 101 and one the listing calls the money method.[1] The storefront terms name Self Made Girl Boss and Joanna Blasco Lopez as the operators, and the company trades as Self Made Girl Boss Ltd.[2][3]

About Beyond The Course
As of September 2026, the mentorship was listed at £220 on the SMGB Business Shop, a Stan storefront.[2] The company's own website sells a digital marketing course covering branding, business automations and lead generation, with lifetime community access and one-to-one business coaching.[3]
In October 2025 the ASA, the UK advertising regulator, upheld a ruling on a paid Instagram post from May 2025 for Self Made Girl Boss Ltd, which it described as a business coaching company.[4] The case was one of five the ASA opened into ads from online personalities and companies promoting courses about making money and expanding a business.[4] The ASA found that the ad breached CAP Code rules 3.1 (Misleading advertising), 3.9 (Qualification) and 3.11 (Exaggeration), and told the company that future ads must not imply claimed results were typical or use qualifications in a misleading way.[4] The company had already removed the ad.[4]
The storefront terms state that no refunds are offered because of the digital nature of the product, that call bookings are non-refundable, and that the company does not warrant or make any representations or guarantees regarding a buyer's success or income level.[2]
