About IDL International Dance League

IDL is a professional dance league in which six pro teams compete across five global stages for a single title.[2][3] The league's site lists the teams as Brotherhood of Vancouver, GRV of Los Angeles, 1Million of Seoul, Royal Family of Auckland, Jam Republic of South East Asia and Quick Style of Oslo.[2] Each series rotates the match-ups so that every team faces every other during the season.[2] Expert judges score each performance, real-time fan voting shapes the final result, and season points decide the seeding that leads to one team being crowned champion.[2] At the IDL Championship in September 2026, GRV pulled off an upset that denied Brotherhood a perfect season.[2]

The league is presented by STEEZY with support from Honda, and STEEZY introduced it as the world's first professional league for dance.[4] Its announcement also celebrated the community crews that built the global dance scene, and named the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles as the venue for an event on 26 July 2025.[4] In August 2026 the league reported that ESPN would present its 2026 season, and its site offers replays of past events as a special cut made for TV.[2]
