Simpson is a professional footballer and a league champion with Leicester City.^[2] He made 32 league appearances in the 2015-16 season, when Leicester won the league title at odds of 5,000-to-1.^[2] His other clubs include Manchester United, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Ipswich Town and Royal Antwerp, and his career totals more than 300 professional appearances.^[2]
