Waymedia Books also publishes Writing Buddy, a free weekly newsletter that introduces writers to one another and gives them a way to connect, and writers can apply to be featured in it.[2] Its posts include craft advice, such as a January 2025 piece on why dialogue can sound unnatural, and a Booktalk series on the importance of books that dates back to February 2024.[2][3] In April 2025 the newsletter announced a book box from Waymediabooks as coming soon.[2]
