TrustyChinese: Learn Mandarin review

TrustyChinese: Learn Mandarin publishes 251 course modules on Skool. It charges $39 a month.

A review on the numbers, not an opinion: nobody here has joined TrustyChinese: Learn Mandarin, and nothing below is a verdict.

TrustyChinese: Learn Mandarin is a Skool community for English speakers who want to speak Mandarin rather than only study it, run by a teacher named Natasja.[1][2] Created in August 2025, it is aimed at beginners learning for travel, work or family, including people stuck on apps, and it assumes no prior Mandarin.[1][2] The listing describes Natasja as a qualified Mandarin teacher working in UK schools and a native English speaker who reached full Mandarin fluency, and sets the goal of holding real conversations in Mandarin within 90 days.[2]

About TrustyChinese: Learn Mandarin

The core programme is the 30 Day Speaking Challenge, which has members building Mandarin sentences from day one, alongside an HSK 1-3 video course and the 7 Power Verbs Strategy Course.[1][2] Natasja teaches sentence patterns and power verbs, a small set of structures for beginner conversation, along with tones and pronunciation.[1][2] Members join weekly live Speaking Club sessions with Natasja and the community, and Natasja gives personal feedback on every speaking recording they post.[1][2]

As of September 2026, the TrustyChinese website listed a Standard plan at $39 a month or $235 a year, covering up to 4 live sessions a month, daily feedback from Natasja and all the learning programmes.[1] The site lists Premium at $59 a month or $425 a year, with small group speaking classes of up to 8 live sessions a month, a 1-1 onboarding call, a personal learning roadmap and priority 1-1 messaging with Natasja.[1] The linked YouTube channel directs viewers to the community.[3]

Both tiers start with a 7-day free trial, members can cancel from their Skool account settings without penalty, and annual sign-ups get a discount.[1][2]
