Thriving as an Associate is an online course and Skool community for associate dentists that promises to take them from "surviving" to "thriving".^[1]^[2] Its course site, thriving.helpfuldentist.com, names the teacher as Dr. Greg, founder of Helpful Dentist and the Dental Clinical Pearls Facebook group, who also shares tips through The Helpful Dentist Insider emails.^[1]^[2] The Skool group was created in April 2020, and its owner account describes its holder as a real estate investor and community builder.^[2]

About Thriving as an Associate

The course covers associate interviews, patient communication, training assistants and working with the front desk, office manager and staff.^[1]^[2] A section on practice ownership covers finding off-market dental practices without a broker, a startup versus an existing practice, and partnering with another dentist.^[1] Members get 17 hours of video training, 77 documents such as clinical note templates, an associate resume, instrument checklists and proformas, lifetime access and the private TAAA community.^[1]^[2] The course carries 11.5 CE Hours (AGD Pace, Clinical Topics), 8 of them for the course and 3.5 as bonus hours.^[1]

As of September 2026, the course site listed it at $499 paid in full or 4 monthly payments of $149, with a 60-day risk-free trial.^[1]
