About The M Tea Songwriters Studio

At its core is the M Tea Studio Songwriting Curriculum, a step-by-step process for turning scattered ideas into finished songs, alongside a Home Studio section that teaches beginners to record and produce at home.[1][4] Members bring their work to weekly live feedback calls.[1] The studio's site also lists monthly Q&A calls with Boles, written and video feedback on songs, monthly challenges and showcases, guest expert replays, and songwriting resources and guides.[4] Members can also arrange to work with Boles 1-1.[1] The site offers a free 45-minute call with Boles for writers with at least basic piano or guitar skills, and says the program does not suit those interested only in theory or gear.[5]

Boles created the name The M Tea for his social media videos on TikTok and Instagram.[1][2] Before the studio's launch, planned for spring 2023, news coverage described lessons over Zoom in three tiers: one-on-one instruction and feedback, small group masterclass-style lessons, and larger groups for listening, analysis and discussion.[2][3]
