Modern Athlete is a community for strength and conditioning training, open to anyone who brings a blue-collar work ethic, run by Modern Athlete Strength Systems, a strength, conditioning and coaching company.[1][2] Its training targets tactical professionals and people who want to train the way they do, and the group describes its coaching staff as former Division 1 strength and conditioning coaches.[1] The Skool group was created in September 2024.[1]

About Modern Athlete
Members get direct access to the coaches and the community, and a classroom of training resources the coaches have used over the years.[1]
The company's paid programs run through an app in which members deal with real coaches rather than bots or customer service staff.[3] The programs include Warfighter Hybrid Performance, which trains strength, speed, endurance and power together, and 4x45 Minimum Effective Dose, four workouts a week of no more than 45 minutes each for athletes whose lives are busy at the moment.[2] As of September 2026, the site also listed Mat Monster, a BJJ and combat sports program, as forthcoming.[2] Live performance and nutrition coaching calls run every Monday night for 45 to 60 minutes, and the about page lists a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a registered dietitian and a mental performance coach on staff.[2][3] The programs are written for military, law enforcement, fire and first responders, competitive and former collegiate athletes, and executives, and the company's YouTube channel covers structured training systems for tactical professionals and combat athletes.[3][4]
As of September 2026, programs cost $49 a month after seven free days, with cancellation at any time.[2] Members who do not lift heavier, run faster and improve their body composition within 90 days can get all of their money back.[2]
