About Jazz Guitar Vault

Members get downloadable PDFs and backing tracks for each YouTube lesson, the 5-Day Jazz Guitar Breakthrough mini-course, lick breakdowns and monthly live workshops.[1] The Vault is a resource library and community rather than a course or curriculum, with the full step-by-step system kept for the academy.[1]

Chase's Guitar Academy teaches what it calls a systematic guitar method.[3] Its main curriculum, Master Standards Blueprint, works through jazz standards with a monthly focus on a new standard, and courses include the 28-Day Jazz Guitar Sprint on improv and comping and the 90-Day Jazz Blues System on four jazz blues tunes with Grant Green licks.[3] Maddox teaches all live classes and writes the curriculum, while guest guitarists teach the Jazz Master Sessions, and classes, masterclasses and office hours calls are recorded and posted the next day.[3]

As of September 2026, the academy's Standard plan, with the complete curriculum and community support, cost $59 a month or $599 a year, and the Premium plan, which adds live instruction and personalized feedback, cost $79 a month or $799 a year.[3] The academy offers a full refund to anyone who asks within 30 days of purchase.[3]
