About Japanese Language Learners

Step-by-step lessons cover speaking, hiragana, katakana, kanji, vocabulary and grammar.[1] Lessons follow what the group calls the Production Method, which has learners speak and write Japanese as early as possible.[1] Mini lessons and weekly writing challenges sit alongside the lessons, and members encourage one another in the group.[1]

Joe Sensei also runs a YouTube channel under the community's name, presented as a Japanese teacher's channel for learners working toward their language goals, and it links to the community.[2]
