About Hotel Content Creators

The entry course, the 48 Hr Smartphone Hotel Filmmaker, walks members through shooting, structuring and editing a hotel reel to produce a first portfolio piece. The lessons cover phone settings, simple camera movements, hooks, stable cinematic clips, editing in the free Edits app and what hotels look for. The listing says no followers, expensive gear or prior experience are needed. Members can have their results reviewed live on monthly group calls with Leon. Further modules include Hotel Creator 101, on the basics before contacting hotels, one the group calls The System Behind Free Hotel Stays, and one on who buys content from travel creators beyond hotels. Leon's YouTube channel claims over 500 hotel collaborations by Leon and students, and points viewers to the Skool community.[1] The group's website, genius-travelers.com, promoted a 60-minute session in September 2026, 5 Secrets to Become a Hotel Content Creator.[2] The site stresses that a phone is enough, that no followers or Instagram account are required, and that only free tools are used.[2]
