About Video Editor Academy

Lessons cover storytelling, next-day teasers, data management, selecting music and sound design.^[2] Ma uses Adobe Premiere, but the academy teaches storytelling rather than the technical details of editing software.^[1] Bonuses include raw wedding practice footage shot by Ma and his team, material on anamorphic lenses, video gallery templates and a masterclass on wedding films that sell.^[1]^[2] As of September 2026, access cost a one-time payment of $47 for lifetime access, and one-to-one coaching was not included, though members can upgrade to Ma's mentorship.^[1]

Ma also runs Wedding Filmmaker Mastery, which offers free training lessons and sells an Audio Masterclass for Filmmakers, a Wedding Filmmaker Mastery Mentorship, the invite-only Beyond The Visuals Mastermind, an in-person workshop and a Wedding Ads Masterclass.^[3] As of September 2026, the mentorship cost $5,800 and the audio masterclass $47.^[3] The Wedding Filmmaker Mastery site says Ma's wedding cinematography was featured in Luke Combs' music video "Forever After All".^[3]
