About High Lonesome Society

The listing offers breakdowns of the NGOs and financial systems it says are trying to lock up land, and material presenting active logging, ranching and hunting as forms of stewardship.[1] Members also get early video releases and research, in a community pitched at working-class men and women.[1] Membership runs a month at a time, and the listing invites anyone who does not find it worth the price to cancel.[1]

Vandenacre's site covers conservation, food security and the way of life in the West, with field missions that test gear, skills and mindset, a toolkit on sourcing food and building shelter, and bookings for keynotes, panel debates and corporate strategy.[2]

The site states that the operator is not a political action committee, an NGO or a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and that neither subscription fees nor purchases count as tax-deductible charitable contributions.[2]
