About Dr. Mike's Chess Academy

Members can play Dr. Mike in live training matches and join weekly live coaching.[1] The group also offers game breakdowns, weekly improvement challenges and opening repertoires for both White and Black.[1]

The owner's channel on YouTube shows analyses of professional games featuring Magnus Carlsen and other grandmasters, and shows games played at the 2000+ Elo level along with the thinking behind them.[2] On that channel, the owner says they returned to online chess in 2024 after a long break and went from 1,100 to more than 2,000 Elo in seven months.[2] The owner's link page presents them as a chess YouTuber and content creator.[3]
