About Do the Boring Work

Training covers scheduling, inbox management, systems, customer service, operations support and AI implementation, aimed at VA work for trades businesses.[2] The Premium plan includes foundation-up steps, a monthly one-to-one call with Cortijo, templates, workbooks and AI prompts, the community of women VAs and a listing in the Hire a VA directory.[2] A VIP plan adds three calls a month, a custom landing page and a custom lead magnet, and both plans are billed monthly or yearly.[2]

Hire a VA lets business owners browse and post projects and connects them with VAs directly, without agencies, markups or platform fees.[3] Assistants listed there must run active service businesses and supply professional references.[3] Cortijo pairs the two, with the directory generating demand and the community training the supply.[1] Before moving into media and marketing at GroupM and CafeMom, Cortijo worked at Salomon Smith Barney, Prudential Securities, Citigroup and Credit Suisse.[1]
