About Crook's Tattoo Academy

Membership is billed monthly and includes the Professional Black & Grey Online Tattoo Course, which sets out tattoo and drawing fundamentals and when to practise each, along with stencil templates and downloads.[2] Members also get personal feedback videos and mentorship, plus live calls, Q&As and group seminars.[2] The method is a loop: members submit work for assessment, Crook points out what to improve and why, and they practise with exercises before sending new work.[2] A free 7-day trial starts a 10-week drawing challenge, and custom one-to-one seminars are available in person or online on request.[2]

The academy's own site sells a self-paced online course with lessons, exercises, templates, feedback videos and a private group, and sends subscribers a free sample video from the full course.[1] Crook first came to tattooing in 2011 through a bad apprenticeship and went on to teach himself.[3]
