About Chosen & Cherished

Members take part in marriage challenges, live workshops and coaching, practical trainings and Meredith's Women's Circle.[1] The group also hosts the pre-order experience for Van Viegen's book Choosing Us, with bonuses and events attached.[1][4] Its lessons cover communicating without doing more harm, handling conflict in new ways, restoring trust and emotional safety, closing distance, and strengthening intimacy and friendship.[1]

Van Viegen founded The Van Viegen Institute, a relationship education and personal development company working through coaching, courses, workshops, speaking, digital media, books and live events.[3][4] Its range includes private and group coaching and a do-it-yourself Relationship Reboot, and it publishes a weekly email, The Chosen & Cherished Letter.[3][4] He describes himself as a registered psychotherapist.[4] On his YouTube channel he introduces himself as a couples therapist who believes "connection beats chemistry, every time", and its videos focus on rebuilding trust and desire between partners.[5] He has also appeared as a podcast guest to discuss emotional dysregulation in relationships, and that episode's notes give 2026 as the year his book reaches stores.[2]
