About Windsurf Creators Club

Windsurf's YouTube channel calls it the "First Agentic IDE" and notes that it was formerly Codeium, the name the Whop account still carries.[1][2] Devin's documentation states: "On June 2, 2026, Windsurf is becoming Devin Desktop."[3] The same documentation says its products are being unified under the Devin brand: Devin Cloud, Devin Desktop, Devin CLI and Devin Review.[3] Windsurf.com now presents Devin Desktop as a home for coding agents, where the user decides what to build and the agents write the code, chase the edge cases and test the details.[4]

Devin is operated by Cognition, which calls it "the first autonomous software engineer."[5] Devin plans, writes, tests and ships production code on its own, working inside a codebase and the tools a team already uses.[5] On YouTube, the makers of Devin describe themselves as an applied AI lab focused on reasoning.[6]
