About Verse8

A user describes a game in a text prompt, and the platform's agent, Agent8, produces the code and assets and then publishes it as a multiplayer game.[2] The listing says no programming or design skills are needed.[2] Agent8 runs on WebGL for the browser and draws on a library of CC0 3D assets.[4] Verse8 handles the multiplayer servers itself, and games are shared by a single link without app store approval.[4] In a May 2026 interview, Lee said prompts mostly yield hypercasual games, that professional developers have their own version, and that users can remix others' games through a feature called the spin.[1] Lee said tokens can be spent on models such as Claude and Gemini, with further credit bought by card.[1]

Lee described Planetarium Labs as the parent of Verse8, which now operates as a separate company and brand.[1]
