About Free Community Membership

StocksBuddy runs on TradingView, draws trend lines on the chart itself and has built-in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced trader settings.[2] Its maker says it marks long and short entries from a chart's bullish or bearish trend and suggests a stop-loss point from prior market data with what it calls an adaptive puck.[2]

The indicator comes from PB Alerts, a brand wholly owned by Virtus Media Group LLC; PB Alerts also offers The Maverick, a custom indicator available only on TradingView.[2][3]

Virtus states that it is not a registered investment adviser or a broker-dealer and gives no customised or personalised recommendations.[2] It also states: "No trading strategy is risk-free. Trading and investing involve substantial risk, and you may lose the entire amount of your principal investment or more."[2]
