About RUSS
A Forcing Function podcast page describes Milan Ackerman as a serial entrepreneur and investor, known mainly as the artist manager for the rapper Russ.[2] The same page says Ackerman discovered Russ on SoundCloud in 2014, and names Ackerman as chief executive of M-Pack Entertainment, an independent music management company.[2]
In May 2025, Luke Girgis wrote a case study in The Black Hoody on Russ as one of the artists already using Whop.[3] Girgis writes that Russ limited his campaigns to creators and clippers in specific niches that he knows love his music.[3] According to the article, 13 campaigns drew more than 1,000 submissions, and content featuring his song MOVIN passed 50 million views.[3]
