About Whop Power Users
Whop was co-founded by Jack Sharkey, Steven Schwartz and Cameron Zoub.[2] In a CNBC profile of the founders, Schwartz described it as a tech marketplace that is like "Etsy for software products".[2] At the time of the profile, the company took 3% to 4.5% of most transactions plus 40 cents, and 30% of featured sellers' transactions.[2] It then employed 25 people and hosted about 3,000 sellers, according to the company.[2]
