About Merlin AI

Foyer is a startup founded in 2021, incorporated in the US and based in Bengaluru.[2] A Forbes India profile named Pratyush Rai, Siddhartha Saxena and Sirsendu Sarkar as the team behind Foyer and described Merlin, its product at the time, as a Chrome extension that lets users call ChatGPT with a click.[2] The same profile covered Merlin's help with writing tasks, from a line for a tweet to a few hundred words for an email, and a Merlin YouTube Summarizer that gives the gist of a whole episode.[2] Rai said at the time that a smartphone app and a desktop app were both priorities for the company.[2]
