About Markit Community

Members get a general chat for daily conversations about development, financing, distribution and production, private pages with slate updates and behind-the-scenes content, and early notice of Markit events with discounted Summit tickets.[1] They also get early access to project announcements and collaboration opportunities.[1] Two paid tiers, Producer and Inner Circle, are offered as upgrades, and entry to Inner Circle is by application.[1][3]

Markit also runs monthly Zoom conferences, recorded for the community portal, and half-day Producer Summits in Los Angeles and London.[3] Its courses include The Filmmaker's Blueprint, Matthewson's six-module guide for producers.[3] The company also has a sister production outfit, The Old Film Farm.[2]
