About HOVR Rideshare

HOVR calls itself a zero-commission mobility platform, on which drivers keep the whole fare.[2] Drivers are paid a fixed base fare plus an amount that depends on the time and distance of each ride, and the company has said it does not use surge pricing.[3]

Harrison Amit founded HOVR in 2019 and is its chief executive; the app launched in Toronto in May 2024.[2][3][4] The company, Ride Hovr Corporation, is based in Toronto, and its stated mission is fair pay for drivers and affordable, reliable rides for passengers.[2][4]
